1. Description of service

Square Sidekick is a business intelligence application that connects to your Square merchant account to provide:

• Real time push notifications for business events.
• Analytics dashboards and insights.
• AI powered business analysis.
• Inventory and sales monitoring.

We integrate with your Square account using OAuth 2.0 authentication and do not store your Square login credentials.

2. User responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful business purposes.
• Maintain the security of your Square account credentials.
• Provide accurate information when setting up alerts and preferences.
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or interfere with the App functionality.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. Data and privacy

• We do not store payment card data or customer payment information.
• Your Square business data is accessed via secure APIs and cached locally on your device.
• Push notification preferences and business profile data sync via your iCloud account.
• We use third party services including Square, Apple, Stripe, and AI providers.

4. Subscriptions and payments

• Premium features require a subscription processed through Apple App Store or Stripe.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled.
• Refunds are subject to Apple App Store or Stripe refund policies.
• We may modify subscription pricing with advance notice.

5. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

Account deletion includes:

• Removal of your profile and preferences from our servers.
• Revocation of Square API access tokens.
• Local data deletion from your device.

6. Intellectual property

All App content, design, and functionality are owned by Square Sidekick LLC and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App.

7. Third party services

The App integrates with Square, Apple, Stripe, and AI service providers. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third party service availability or policies.

8. Disclaimers and limitations

The App is provided AS IS without warranties of any kind.

We disclaim all warranties including:

• Accuracy of business data or insights.
• Continuous availability or error free operation.
• Compatibility with your specific business needs.

Limitation of liability: Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
